In the Eastern Pyrenees, between Argelès-sur-Mer and Canet-en-Roussillon, the famous seaside resort of Saint Cyprien has both the charm of an authentic village and the advantages of a six-kilometre coastline. A marina for pleasure boats is the added asset of this small village, which has become the second marina in France and the third in Europe.
A seaside resort with two sides and many times rewarded
The Languedoc town of Saint Cyprien is divided into two parts with on one side the old town with an authentic character and on the other side, the beach of Saint-Cyprien, which in addition to the large and beautiful fine sandy beach also offers a wide selection of shops and local amenities. Separated by a coastal strip of Canet Plage, the nearest seaside resort of Perpignan, the beach of Saint Cyprien has beautiful unspoilt beaches. The beaches on the coast are exceptionally well maintained and have received various labels, including quality tourism, tourism and disability, Family Plus and the blue flag. They have earned these last two prizes for their good commitment to environmental protection set by the city. The latter centralizes the European Odyssea project, proof of tourist excellence.
